CAPABILITY STATEMENT

BACKGROUND

Seawave Mining is based in Mackay with the intent of being able to offer a wide range of Technical Services to Australian and International underground coal mines.

The major strengths of our business are that it has extensive experience base in terms of exposure to the majority of underground mining operations in Australia.

The ability to input a global coal industry, Technical Service innovations or experience perspective into daily operational decision-making and problem solving can be of tremendous value to mine operations in reaching optimum outcomes for both safety and business performance. This is a prime and often under-valued function of an external specialist consultant.

Both the local mines in Queensland and Seawave Mining have benefited from forming a close and on-going working relationship. Services supplied range from a mine site Ventilation Officer presence at one extreme, to an advisory, auditing and training role at the other, with daily functions being provided by mine site personnel.

The overall objective is to offer a wide range of technical services to local mines using local staff.
